How do you spend your holy week??? Some spend it going on vacation, like going to beaches, abroad, tourist destination, etc. etc. because of it being a very long weekend they find this time to rest and relax, go somewhere which they cannot afford to do because of the hectic schedule they have. They find the HOLY WEEK a.k.a. SUPER LONG WEEKEND in the PHILIPPINES the only chance/time they have to do or go to all their planned getaways!
For my family, its our "Hinde-pwede-gumala-magpirme-ka-sa-bahay-lang" time! hahaha! totoo naman kse ee.. But it changed like 2 years ago! Where we collide HOLY TIME and LABOY TIME! It was made possible because of the "Visita Iglesia". We go to 7 churches, churches that we haven't been to ever! Its like a road trip in search for churches. In 2011 we explored the churches of RIZAL, 2012 we went to churches in Metro Manila.
This year was a shotgun church hunting where in we have no plans of where-so-ever-are-we-going! So we were like hunters in the road hunting for churches we haven't been... We ended up exploring Quezon City and Marikina! With NO PLAN, NO MAPS, NO DESTINATION and all we have is "MAGTA" (My papa's ever trusted travel buddy, sabe nga nya pag meron kang MAGTA, kahit saan ka magpunta hindi ka mawawala! It is no other than the ability of MAGTAnong! yes! Ask people, Never be too shy to ask! Ask them for directions and make sure that you got their directions right so you will never get lost!)
